Virginia Tech sophomore Emma Thor placed third in the women's hammer throw at the 60th Mt. SAC Relays at Mt. SAC in Walnut, Calif. Thor elevated to the No. 9 collegiate performer this year with a personal-best throw of 212-9 (64.85m), improving on last year's mark of 212-3 (64.69m) in Florida.
