First-year New Balance professional Kendall Ellis anchored Hayes All-Stars to victory in the invitational women's 4x400-meter relay in 3:29.88 at the 61st Mt. SAC Relays at El Camino College's Murdock Stadium in Torrance, Calif. Ellis, an NCAA champion and collegiate record holder at USC, teamed with fellow New Balance first-year pro Sydney McLaughlin, along with Gia Trevisan and Nnenya Hailey to run the No. 9 time in the world this year. Ellis also placed second in the invitational 400 meters in 51.75 seconds.
